Bucksport.

Mrs. Elmira Miles, who figures somewhat conspicuously in the Ware murder case, left Bucksport Monday for New York, to spend the winter with her daughter, Mrs. Zittell, who came to Bucksport, a few days ago, to accompany her mother, says the Bangor News. The Miles house on Miles lane is closed for the winter, but Mrs. Miles expects to return next June. If in her usual health. Before leaving town Mrs. Miles called on S. E. Hall. Chairman of the board of selectmen, and left her address. When asked if she had anything to say regarding the Ware case, she said: "I have already told all I know about the case many times and have told the truth every time."

Somehow I suspect we haven't heard the last from those concerned with the Ware Case. You might say this was a lull before the storm.
